A young man is hospitalized on Friday night after hitting a car while riding a motorcycle in thePeel region.
In a tweet,Peel Regional Policestated that the incident took place in the areas of Queen Mary Drive and Defrost Drive in Brampton. An officer was called to the scene at around 6:48 pm.
Police said the young man was riding a bicycle when he hit a car, but the driver remained on the scene.

A young man, whose age and gender have not yet been released by police, was rushed to a local trauma center in a life-threatening situation, Peel's rescue personnel told Global News.
