CAUGHT ON TAPE: Halton cops highlight suspected thieves

Police say this Caught on Tape program has been running on their website for years and was just announced Friday in the form of a media release.

Halton Regional Police have a new deal called Caught On Tape where photos of alleged thieves are being posted on their website.

On Sept. 19, 2022, three suspects committed a theft under $5000 offence.

The first suspect is a Hispanic man, six-foot, about 40 years old and 200 pounds. At the time, he was wearing a white and tan sweater, white shorts and black running shoes and a black medical mask.

The second suspect is a Hispanic man, about 25 years old, 160 pounds, and at the time was wearing black shorts, white button-down shirt with green palm trees and black shoes.

The third suspect is a Hispanic female, about 25 years old, 150 pounds, and at the time was wearing a white T-shirt, black leggings and white ADIDAS shoes with black stripes and a blue medical mask. She was carrying a gold shoulder bag.

On Sept. 26, 2022, an unknown man was at a LCBO store, located at 270 North Service Rd., in Oakville, and stole two bottles of Crown Royal worth $130.90. He is described as white, and at the time was wearing a blue winter jacket with white stripes, brown pants and black shoes.

On Sept.29, 2022, a man and a woman stole a pair of Timberland boots from a store in Burlington.

The male suspect is described as Middle Eastern, about 38 years old, approximately 5-foot-10 with black hair and roughly 190 pounds. At the time, he was wearing sunglasses, a grey polo or Ralph Lauren sweater with black ripped denim jeans and boots.

The female suspect is Middle Eastern or white, about 30 years old, with long brown hair, and about 5-foot-7 and 170 pounds. She was wearing light-wash denim jeans, a blue sweater, white and black Vans shoes, and a had a big brown purse.

On Dec. 14th, 2022, an unknown female attended Fortinos, located at 173 Lakeshore Rd., in Oakville, and stole $17.97 of grocery items. She is allegedly a repeat offender at Fortinos.

Police say this Caught on Tape program has been running on their website for years and was just announced Friday in the form of a media release.

It is used when police have a photo of a suspect and they want to identify the person.
