Shanghai — Mainland China reported 460 new cases of coronavirus on July 3, 72 of which were symptomatic and 388 were asymptomatic, the National Health Commission said on Monday.
This is 104 symptomatic and 369 asymptomatic infections compared to 473 new cases a day ago, which are counted individually in China.
There were no new deaths, with 5,226 deaths in the country.
As of Sunday, 225,923 symptomatic cases have been identified in mainland China.
Beijing, the capital of China, did not report new local incidents, as it did the day before, local governments said.
Municipal data show that Shanghai reported two new cases of local symptoms, the same as the previous day, and one locally asymptomatic case that was not the day before. (Report by Shanghai Newsroom, Written by Liz Lee, Edited by Kim Coghill)
