The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP has imposed additional attempted murder charges in the Omemy stabbing incident.

In July, additional attempted murder was filed in connection with multiple puncture wounds in an apartment in Omemee, Ontario.

Around 10:30 pm On July 2, police responded to the turmoil in the apartment building on James Street in the village. According to the Kawartha Lakes City OPP, four people were injured and taken to the hospital. Initially, OPP reported that three people were injured.
