Kabul, Afghanistan (AP) — In an article published on 15 August 2022 on the one-year anniversary of the Taliban takeover of Kabul, The Associated news agency misquoted the UN Humanitarian Director-General for Afghanistan, who said more than 90 million people were "food insecure". Ramiz Arakbarov said 19 million people were "food insecure" instead of 90.
