Saskatchewan state officialsreported the latest COVID numbers on Thursday. This includes over 200 new cases and 3 deaths.
Of the 5,372 tests per week on June 19-25, 208 were confirmed in the laboratory withCOVID-19. The test positive rate for the Regina Zone has doubled from 3.4% to 7.0%.
Most of the cases confirmed by the test this week, 57.2%, were over 50 years old.
Authorities said in a report that rates should be interpreted with caution as they do not include cases detected with the Home Rapid Antigen Test Kit.
The state also reported three new COVID-19 deaths last week, one death on June 18, but this week.
