The number of patients in Quebec hospitals with COVID-19 is at its lowest level since July 2022.
Quebec announced on Tuesday that 13 more deaths had been attributed to COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 17,954.
The province said 1,486 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 — a decrease of 57 since the last time data was published. That’s the lowest level since early July.

Of those patients, the number in intensive care remained stable at 23.
The province reported 531 more COVID-19 cases had been confirmed through PCR testing at its clinics. However, because this method of testing is not accessible to most Quebecers, the case numbers are not representative of the situation in the province.
