Coyote signs F. Lawson Crouse to 5-year deal

The Arizona Coyotes re-signed restricted free agent forward Lawson Claus to a five-year deal on Monday.

Terms were not disclosed, but multiple reports peg him at $21.5 million, or $4.3 million per season.

Crouse, 24, was scheduled for an arbitration hearing on Monday.

"We are very pleased to enter into a long-term contract with Lawson," Arizona general manager Bill He Armstrong said in his news release. "He's a big, strong, accomplished power forward, and I'm looking forward to him being a big part of our future." Scored goals (20) and points (34).
