Principles of some collective bargaining agreements Agreement Société qué bécoise ducannabis stores were ratified by union members on Sunday.
The new four-year contract will affect workers in 15 stores that are members of the CSN Fédération desemployés des services public union. According to CSN, this includes pay raises and improved working hours, increased team leader bonuses, and provided more time to part-time employees.
CSN didn't want to publish the voting results.
SQDC management confirmed ratification and said, "We are pleased with this transaction, which benefits all parties."
Another union affiliated with FTQ, Syndicatcanadiende la fonction publique (SCFP), represents more than 300 employees. Members of the other 22 stores are still doing unlimited general strikes, but the union expects negotiations to resume shortly.
Employees of the other 47 SQDC outlets are not members of the union.
