BRP Inc. says it was targeted by a cyberattack and was forced to suspend operations temporarily.
The snowmobile and other recreational vehicle maker said it took immediate steps to contain the "malicious cybersecurity activity" it detected Monday.
Both information technology staff and external cybersecurity experts say they are working to secure systems and support internal investigations.

The company has not disclosed what information, if any, was compromised in the incident. Hmm.
It warned that a system outage could delay transactions with customers and suppliers.
BRP's brands include Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles, Sea-Doo watercraft, and Can-Am vehicles.
