Driving 157 km/h on State Highway 401 with two young children in the back seat: OPP

Grenville OPP Police Officer Vehicles Traveling 157 km As they were driving west on Highway 401 early Thursday morning, they discovered another dangerous driving violation.

The driver was charged with failing to properly secure two infants in the back seat after performing a stunt at a 4 a.m. stop in Augusta Township, East District OPP said on his media on Social.

"Always make sure everyone in your vehicle is properly seat belted," state police warned, adding #SeatBeltsSaveLives.

Charges for stunt driving — speeding at 50 km/h or more over the limit or 40 km/h if the limit is less than 80 km/h  — 14 days  for motor vehicle seizure and 30-day driver's license suspension. If convicted, the fine is $2,000 to $10,000 for him.
