Durham police charge three people after cash, firearm and drugs seized

On Sept. 28, numerous search warrants were executed at three residences, two storage lockers and four vehicles in Oshawa, Toronto, Oakville and Richmond Hill.

Nicole Del Medico, 45, of Oshawa, was charged with six counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of trafficking a controlled substance and two counts of possession of proceeds obtained by crime.

Emie Archambault-Vezina, 29, of Richmond Hill, was charged of five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Merwan Hachicha, 30, of Oakville was charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of proceeds obtained by crime and possession of a loaded prohibited firearm.

Anyone with new information is asked to contact the Drug Enforcement Unit at 1-888-579-1520, ext 5800 and anonymous information can be sent to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 with tipsters eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.
