NextNHLThe regular season begins in Europe and the first game in Canada will not come in five days.
NHL announced a schedule for 2022-23 on Wednesday, with Nashville Predators and San Jose Sharks starting the season on October 7th at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic.

The first North American game is scheduled for October 11th, with Tampa Bay Lightning visiting the New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings hosting Vegas Golden Nights.
Edmonton Oilerswill begin a regular season at home against Vancouver Canux on Wednesday, October 12th. This is part of the 6-game homestand at the start of the Oilers season.
On Saturday, October 15th, Calgari Flames will pay for the only visit to Rogers Place this season. The Oilers will play Flame and Canuk three times each, meeting four other Pacific Division clubs four times each.

The Montreal Canadians will arrive in Edmonton on December 3rd. Toronto Maple Reefs is in Edmonton on March 1st. The Oilers will host the Stanley Cup Champion Colorado Avalanche on January 7th.

Senator Ottawa Starts Season On October 13th, on the road in Buffalo, Calgari Flames opened at home against Stanley Cup Champion Colorado.

Winipegjet will face the Rangers at his home on October 14th.
All seven Canadian teams will be working for "Canada Hockey Day" on January 21st.
The NHL Winter Classic on January 2nd will feature the Boston Blue Inn, which hosts the Pittsburgh Penguin outdoors at Fenway Park.
