Strang said earlier this week that people who tested positive forCOVID-19, or who had symptoms like COVID, should be quarantined, if possible. this is not allowed.
Coombes states that this change puts a "burden on working families" who may feel encouraged to go to work when they are ill.
She points out that the majority of Nova Scotia's people do not have paid sick leave and is permanent. It states that it is essential to establish paid sick leave.
