“The victim of the identity theft was unaware that this had occurred,” the RCMP alleged in a release.
Strickland worked for six weeks at the facility, according to the accusations, and while she was there, a quantity of prescription medications were stolen from residents of the home.
“The investigation revealed evidence to support charges of theft against Strickland,” said the release.
Strickland is currently serving a three-year probationary sentence after pleading guilty to criminal negligence causing death of her four-year-old son, Kane Driscoll, who ingested his mother’s pain medication.
She was struggling with addiction at the time. His body was found in the Hamilton Mountain home she lived in at the time.
