The Yellowhead Highway north of Kamloops is closed in both directions after a fatal crash involving two commercial vehicles just after noon Thursday.
One driver died and another was taken to hospital after the crash on Highway 5 near McLure, about 50 kilometres north of Kamloops.

Officers from the Barriere RCMP detachment are being assisted by a crash analysis unit and B.C. Highway Patrol officers out of Kamloops.
Criminality is not suspected in the crash. Anyone who saw it is asked to call B.C. Highway Patrol Kamloops at 250-828-3111.
Investigators remain at the scene Thursday afternoon and a time for reopening the highway hasn’t been determined. Motorists are being detoured to Highway 24 and Highway 97/1 during the closure.
