An earthquake in Kimberley was felt by local residents Saturday night.
A U.S. Geological Survey alert said the 3.9 magnitude quake occurred 41 km from Kimberley at 8:39 p.m.

The survey issued a map showing the quake happened between Mount Saint Mary and Nowitka Mountain.
Locals took to Twitter shortly after. It is not known if there were any injuries.
Same shook kimberley Ridge Lodges at the hill. Never felt one before. Figured a car hit the building or something collapsed.
