No injuries have been reported.

Shewell explained that the estimated damages have not yet been determined, as the building is vacant and therefore a "limited amount".

"The value of the dollar is definitely the lower limit," Shewell said. "But during the investigation, I realized that there were no utilities or sources of fire in the area."

This is one year that the fire brigade responded to the location of Dairy Queen in South London. It is the second time within.

On December 4, 2021, the fire brigade fought and extinguished the fire just north of Baseline Road.

Investigations are underway and police have determined that the fire is suspicious.
