A fire broke out at George Eliot Secondary School in Lake Country late Wednesday afternoon.
The fire brigade responded to reports of a fire at the back door of the school.

The school district said in a news release that fire damage was limited to the roof and exterior walls of the auxiliary
gymnasium outside the girls' locker room. It is expected that this will not prevent the reopening of schools.
