Five Baltimore Orioles pitchers combined to limit host Chicago White Sox to one hit with a 4-1 victory on Friday.

Austin Hays belted a double RBI and Richie Martin had a single RBI. Martin also recorded two of Baltimore's five stolen bases.

Cedric Mullins scored at the top of one inning with the Orioles wild pitch. The Orioles have recorded three and six consecutive victories in the last eight games. Baltimore also won three games in a row from May 8th to 10th.

Rookie Adley Rutschman returned home on a balk for the Orioles at the fourth top.

Joey Creviel (3-3) reassures starter Austin Voth on the way to retiring all seven batters faced in a scoreless inning on 21/3. After hitting three shots, he won. Brian Baker and Cionel Perez have retired all four batters they faced before Jorge Lopez made his ninth save in the 13th save of the season.

Jake Burger recorded Chicago's only hit with an RBI double in the second inning. Michael Kopech (2-4) allowed three runs with the same number of hits and issued four walks to aim for the White Sox's defeat.

Baltimore bolted off the block when Malins reached the bunt single and led the first inning. He quickly stole the second, went third on the ground out, and scored with a wild pitch from Kopek.

After Jorge Mateo hit the pitch, the Orioles doubled their advantage in two innings, urging both bench and bullpen players to empty the field. Order was quickly restored, and Mateo quickly stole second, had a lively conversation with White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson, and scored in Martin's single-to-light field.

Berger halved the deficit in the second inning, and then Rutschman gave Baltimore a 3-1 lead in the fourth inning, which was unconventional. He rips the one-out double-to-light field and goes to the third on the ground out before returning home at Kopek's balk.

The Orioles added an advantage in the eighth inning after Trey Mancini led the inning with a double and returned from the haze double to the left center field.
