Four charged following group altercation at Oakville high school

Three male teenagers and one male adult, all from Oakville, have been charged with various offences following a Dec. 7 altercation at Garth Webb Secondary School.

Halton Regional Police say around 4 p.m. they responded to a fight at the Oakville school that had broken out between a group of youths in the foyer.

When authorities arrived they found two victims suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds and a third victim with a bloodied nose with all three taken to hospital and since treated and released.

A 15-year-old, found at the school, has been charged with assault and released on an undertaking.

A 17-year-old, arrested after the incident in the area of Merchants Gate and Third Line in Oakville, has been charged with assault and put through Youth Diversion.

A 15-year-old, found around 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 8 in the area of Merchants Gate and Third Line in Oakville, has been charged with seven offences including two counts of assault causing bodily harm and fail to comply with a release order. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

And a warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 19-year-old on eight charges including two counts each of assault with a weapon and assault cause bodily harm and fail to comply with release order.
