MADRID — Finland and Sweden's plans to join the NATO alliance send Russia a clear signal that Russian leader Vladimir Putin's strategy is wrong and self-defeating, Emmanuel France. President Macron told the NATO Summit in Spain.
Earlier this week, NATO invited Sweden and Finland on Wednesday, the biggest security in Europe in decades after Helsinki and Stockholm lost their traditional neutrality due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Joined the military alliance in one of the changes.
