Paris—French President Emmanuel Macron said he felt that a compromise had been found within the framework of the European Union membership negotiations in Northern Macedonia, which also involves Bulgaria.
"I think he found a compromise," he said at a press conference at the NATO Summit in Spain.
On June 24, the Bulgarian parliament gave the government a green light to approve the framework of the European Union membership negotiations in Northern Macedonia. This may allow northern neighbors to initiate accession negotiations with Brock.
