Ottawa — Ukrainian President Wolodimir Zelensky addressed the de facto G7 leaders at a summit meeting in Germany when discussing the threat to global stability due to Russia's invasion.

The leaders met in a bright and beautiful conference room in Schloss Ermau, Germany. This meeting room is a true mountaintop castle surrounded by blooming meadows and stunning views.

Zelensky appeared in front of a gray background on a small monitor overlooking a group of stone faces.

The conflict has been an ongoing theme through a meeting between Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and world leaders in Schloss Ermau, Germany, and the Commonwealth Summit last week in Rwanda.

Trudeau spoke to Zelensky on the first day of the G7 Summit and asked the leader what he needed. According to Zelenskyy's Twitter account, the two talked about strengthening defense support against a confused country.

In the first session of the day, the leaders of the world's most developed nations devoted themselves to discussing the war and listening to Zelensky's plea.
