The deadline to register as a candidate for the Guelph City Council elections is this Friday. Current Mayor Cam Guthrie just won his first nominee for registration.
In the release, Danny Drew said he values democracy.
"Elections aren't the only times when we need to debate the issue and hold politicians accountable for their records. It would be a disaster for Guelph to have a sitting mayor praised." said Drew.
