A local teenage girl was charged with attempted murder in an investigation into a riot in Guelph, Ontario.
On July 24, Guelph police were summoned to a house on the eastern edge of the city.
There, officers found his 18-year-old man seriously injured.
Paramedics transported the victim to a trauma center, where he underwent surgery.

Investigators arrested a 17-year-old female from Guelph for attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault and possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes. I am scheduled to appear in court.
