Guerph police claim a man in Cambridge after unnecessary telephone surveys

A Cambridge man has been charged with harassment. Police said the woman received so many unwanted calls that she had to change her phone number.

According to police, women who knew men received hundreds of unwanted phone calls.

They said the man then called the company in Guelph where the woman and several of her family members worked, filled her answering machine, and called the company repeatedly. It is said that the power supply was turned off.

Investigators attempted to intervene by having a female supervisor call the man back, but had him receive calls and texts from the same individual on his personal phone.
