Laval police say they have reason to believe someone in the area might have witnessed the shooting in a park outside the school that targeted four persons who then sought refuge inside the college.
The gunfire triggered a lockdown that saw 500 students kept inside the school as a precaution for four hours.
Investigators have said the shooting had no connection to the school, and some of those targeted had links to a local street gang.
Anyone with any information that might be relevant to the investigation is urged to speak to investigators at the command post or call the Laval police information line at 450-662-4636 or call 911 and mention file LVL-221111-070.
