Guns and gangs unit investigating after vehicle hit by bullets in Orléans

Shell casings were found at the scene, but no injuries were reported.

Ottawa police officers found a vehicle with several bullet holes when they were called to the sound of gunfire in the area of Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard North and Fortune Drive in Orléans on Monday night.

Shell casings were found at the scene, but no injuries were reported in the incident called in at about 9:07 p.m., the Ottawa Police Service said.

Their investigation is ongoing, police said. Anyone with information was asked to call the guns and gangs unit at  613-236-1222, extension 5050.
