Heat warnings continue across Canada amid scorching temperatures and humidity

Environment Canada has extended heat warnings in many provinces as unseasonably hot weather continues across the country . The

nationalmeteorologicalagency's warning covers large areas of southern Ontario, Nova Scotia, Alberta, and British Columbia.

According to Environment Canada, maximum temperatures are expected to reach or exceed 30 degrees Celsius, and when combined with humidity, are expected to hit the low 40s.

Temperatures is projected to drop on Monday night or Tuesday in most regions.

However, heat waves are expected to return to parts of Alberta on Wednesday.
