As unseasonably hot weather continues across Canada, Environment Canada has extended high temperature warnings in many provinces.

Warnings from the Bureau of Meteorology cover large areas of Southern Ontario, Nova Scotia, Alberta and British Columbia.

According to Environment Canada, maximum temperatures are expected to reach or exceed 30 degrees, and combined with humidity, it is expected to reach the low 40s.

Cooler temperatures are expected for most regions on Monday night or Tuesday.

However, the heat is expected to return to parts of Alberta on Wednesday.

A heat stroke warning is issued when the risk of heat stroke, such as heat stroke or heat stroke, is expected to increase due to extremely hot or humid conditions.
