A landslide near Lytton, British Columbia has closed Highway 1.

Part of Highway 1 in Fraser Canyon, British Columbia has been closed due to a landslide.

A landslide closed the highway between Lytton and Spence Bridges between Highway 8 and Highway 12.

DriveBC said detours are not currently available, but grade evaluation will be done on Thursday. rice field.

Witnesses said there was heavy rain in the area before the landslide hit the highway.
