Weekend trips to the Stratford Perth Museum are becoming much more convenient, especially for non-vehicle visitors.
A museum on Huron Street, Stratford, Ontario. The city's on-demand bus service, well-known as home to the popular Justin Bieber exhibit, Steps to Stardom, has been added.
This means that beaver fans and theater goers who travel to Stratford by bus or train can book a ride to the museum online or by phone via Stratford Transit.
The museum's general manager, John Kastner, said this is a big boost, especially as the museum on the northwestern border of Stratford is a bit farther away than other tourist hotspots in the city. It states that it will be.
"We were always worried about taking people to the museum," Kastner said. "Since the Justin Bieber exhibition was held in 2018, people without cars have come to the city."
A new GO that brings people to the theater from Toronto Transit trains and Toronto Festival buses have also increased the number of tourists visiting the city without their own vehicles.
“The idea of on-demand transit is a great solution,” says Kastner. "This is really the solution for us, as the majority of our visitors come on Saturdays and Sundays."
