Hunter: Cold Case victim Gracelin Greenwich fought for her life

Nurse Gracelin Greenwich reached the door of the apartment, where she died of an injury.

She was killed in Apt. She was 506 at 50 Driftwood Avenue on July 28, 1997.

Her murderer remained free for 25 years during that time.

The Cold Case Unit of the Toronto Police Service has providedToronto Sunwith a quartet of unsolved murders from July that they want to resolve. The murder of Greenidge is on the list.

"All four victims of July were vulnerable members of our community," Det.-Sgt. Steve Smith told  Sun: "Two of these murders have DNA and we are considering further testing. All we need is a name that matches the criminal's DNA."

Also on this month's list is a 15-year-old shot on July 28, 2013 after approaching two men in a car in a parking lot. There are Tahj Loor-Walters. At York Woods Plaza near Jane Street and Finchia Avenue, he died in the hospital two weeks later.

Police believe that the Loor-Walters murder may have been a false identity.

In addition, Smith provided the name of the famous gangster mistress Patricia Real (46), who was shot dead on July 17, 2000. Head — Allegedly involved with her boss, gangster, coffin kingpin, and Gaetano Panepinto. He died with her in less than three months.

And on July 5, 2006, 27-year-old Dianna Sandeman and her boyfriend had no plans to go out. However, police suspect that the couple may have been seduced by Etobicoke's sports bar, Europa Cafe.

Sandeman was shot many times as the couple sat in the car. Her boyfriend had a bullet on her leg. Police said the shooting was "not a random act" and the gun used for the hit was purchased in Georgia.

On the other hand, Greenwich has a better life in Canada for Bahamans in the late 1970s. I was looking for it.

On the day she was murdered, she quit her job at a downtown nursing home around 11:00 pm. She is believed to have arrived home safely.

But when she didn't go to work the next day, her friend was worried and went to Greenwich's apartment. There she encountered the horror of seeing her friend dead.

Greenwich reportedly was dating a new man when she was killed Has been done. Someone unknown to her friends and her family.

Those of interest are described as black, mid-30s, 5 feet-9, and 165 pounds. He reportedly wore a baseball cap and frequently went to the northernmost Bingo Hall.

"These are all meaningless murders.  We believe in all these cases where the victim knew the murderer, so we are in the community. I'm looking for help, "Smith said.

"Family, friends, acquaintances, and members of the victim's social circle may have information that could lead us to the murderer.  These All four murders are attacks on the entire community and are productive members of a society that is killed without provocation. These criminals need to be tried. "
