State police watchdogs closed their investigation into Vernon's death this spring.
According to the Independent Office of Investigation BC (IIO)Vernon RCMP had no role in the death of a man on the morning of his April 25th. did not fulfill Officers went to the local residence at 7:25 am and took him to the hospital.
