Dubai — Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps is Tehran's second-highest envoy on suspicion of spying, including collecting soil samples. In the restricted area, which detained several foreigners, including Tehran, state television reported Wednesday.
It is not clear if the detained people have been arrested yet.
"These spies were taking samples of the Earth in the central desert of Iran, where the Revolutionary Guard's aerospace missile exercises took place," state television said. (Written by Parisa Hafezi, edited by Chris Reese)
