New York Jets offensive tackle Mekhi Becton will have an MRI of his surgically repaired right knee after limping off the practice field on Monday.

Head of his coach Robert Saleh said preliminary reports indicate his first-round pick injury in 2020 is not too serious.

"Stable," said Saleh. ``It doesn't seem like a big deal so far.''

Becton, 23, said he was incapacitated when the Jets opened his camp training at his park in Florham, N.J., last month. I resumed my activities from the list. He missed the rest of the 2021 season.

The Jets selected Becton his 11th overall in 2020, and he started his rookie season on his tackle at left field in 13 of his 14 games. He has transitioned to right tackle this season, with George Fant on the left flank.
