Rehoboth Beach, Delaware — Latest on his COVID-19 After completing quarantine, President Joe Biden left his White House on Sunday for the first time since being infected. The coronavirus last month set us back on a reunion with First Lady Jill Biden in our home state of Delaware.
The president tested negative Saturday and Sunday, according to his doctors This paved the way for a longer-than-expected quarantine due to reinfection of the virus. Dr. Kevin O'Connor wrote, "He will safely return to his public engagements and presidential travels."
"Feeling good," said Biden as he walked out of the White House. Said one marine before boarding his one.
Mr. and Mrs. Biden were scheduled to spend his day at popular vacation destination Rehoboth Beach.
Biden originally tested positive on July 21 and began taking the antiviral drug Paxlovid, which was intended to reduce the chance of serious illness from the virus. Biden's vital signs remained normal during the infection, but his symptoms included a runny nose, cough, sore throat and body aches, according to his doctor.
After isolating for several days, Biden announced his July 26th and he tested negative on July 27th, addressing Rose in his garden, saying that the American said he could "live without fear" of the virus. If they get booster shots, they will test for the virus if they get sick, and look for a cure.
But Biden said on July 30 that he would be diagnosed with COVID-19, a rare disease.
