Susan Van Der Groef-Gooding says she couldn’t believe what she was seeing on her ticket after winning $50,000 playing High Roller Casino.
“I checked it five times. Each time, I was saying, ‘No, it can’t be right,’” the 55-year-old Grafton woman told OLG.

The winning scratch ticket was bought at Mac’s on King St. in Cobourg. High Roller Casino tickets cost $50 and have a top prize of $500,000.
Van Der Groef-Gooding says she can now do some things she couldn’t do before.
“I’m going to take my daughter to Las Vegas, purchase a truck for my son and celebrate with a big dinner for my whole family,” she said.
