Kingston, Ontario. Police investigate sexual assault in the city's college district

Kingston police are seeking the help of the general public in an aggressive investigation surrounding sexual assault near Block Street and University Avenue.

Police say a 20-year-old woman was walking to her house when a man attacked her around 2:40 am on July 1.

Police said the suspect had sexually assaulted the woman before she screamed and fled the man.

Hearing the screams, two bystanders came to help the woman.

The suspect is a black-haired man, about 30 years old, 6 feet tall, and described as having an average physique.
