Toronto Maple Leafs and defense Timothy Liljegren agreed on Monday to extend the contract for $ 2.8 million for two years.
Liljegren, 23, scored 23 points (5 goals, 18 assists) in 61 games during the 2021-22 regular season.
Since the Maple Leafs debuted on January 18, 2020, the first round of 2017 picks (17th overall) have played 74 games.
Lil Jeglen also has 73 points (11 goals, 62 assists) in 148 games against AHL's Toronto Marlies.
