CBC IS LIBERAL MOUTHPIECE

Re “The value of CBC” (Letters to the Editor, Nov. 27): The first question is, why does a network with such a tiny number of viewers require so many employees? The plain fact is the CBC is not a national network. It is a dedicated cheerleading squad for the Trudeau Liberal Party. The best example of this bias is their coverage of the investigation into Trudeau’s vicious revenge play against the peaceful truckers’ convoy because these hardworking Canadians dared to challenge his authority. I tuned in to the CBC periodically just to hear their predictable narrative defending this arrogant prime minister, and it did not disappoint. This “media relations director” telling Canadians they must trust the CBC is the biggest betrayal yet from this cadre of overpaid spongers. They must be tossed out along with Justin Trudeau.

TAKE BACK OUR CITY

Re “‘Unacceptable’ violence must be stopped: Mayor” (The Canadian Press, Nov. 29): A few years ago, the vocal minority wanted the police presence in schools removed even though the silent majority wanted them to stay. Our mayor, city council and clueless school boards decided — as usual — to fold and give in. Now look at what is going on in the schools. Decent students can’t use the bathroom for fear of being assaulted. Drugs are being dealt in the open. Teachers are being assaulted. Tory doesn’t accept any blame for this and his only answer is to say, “This is unacceptable,” and form another useless committee. Time to put a hardliner in charge who won’t bend to every vocal minority’s whims and to try to take this once great city back.

TRUDEAU’S LAW BY FIAT

Re “Tardy Trudeau shows contempt again” (Lorne Gunter, Nov. 27): Justin Trudeau was not late. As dictator, the meeting only starts when he arrives. He gained power by deceit, promising government transparency. Now, he won’t share legal advice for invoking the Emergencies Act. He implemented the law by fiat, without calling a special session of Parliament. He ignored police and security agency opinions. He derides and constrains opposition, calling peaceful protesters a small fringe minority of people who hold unacceptable views that do not represent the views of Canadians. He put them in jail and seized their bank accounts. He curtailed civil liberties in this matter and during the pandemic. He will soon seize all guns and muzzle citizens with censorship laws. Trudeau behaves like the basic dictators he admires. He was elected by 32% of citizens who voted. If anyone should have contempt, it is Canadian citizens.

(We just need an opportunity to hold him accountable in the next election)
