London Police (LPS) are investigating the arrest of popular transgender female Twitch streamer Clara Sorrenti. Last week, she was the victim of thestrikingincident, so I named her "Kephalus".
Swatting is an intimidation tactic that usually involves falsely reporting a crime, associating it with the person's address, and expecting armed police to show up at the person's home.
Sorrenti, who is also a transgender activist, said harassers impersonated her in a series of false death threats sent to city councilors last week, and police raided her London, Ontario, home last Friday.

Williams added Police are in contact with Sorrenti and investigation I plan to share my findings with her when I am done.
In a tweet she posted less than an hour after Williams' statement was released, Sorrenti said officials from the LPS' Hate Crime Division had been in contact with her and He said he would recover items seized during his arrest. These items include streaming her gear and personal communication devices.

Police have shared some other details about the case, including whether there are any suspects linked to the bogus threat.
A spokesperson for LPS, when asked for details, said it was unable to divulge any further information about the incident as the investigation was ongoing.
In a separate statement from police on Tuesday, officers said they could not provide "a firm date as to when (the investigation) will end."
