A massive power outage has affected the heart of downtown Toronto.

area are also down.

Other areas affected by the blackout include the Eaton Center, Toronto Police Headquarters, and St. Lawrence Market.

According to the Toronto Transportation Service, the obstruction is within a radius of at least four blocks from College to Harbor Street and between Sherborne and York Streets.

Toronto Hydro's outage map is currently unavailable, but the company said on his Twitter account that it was aware of the outage and is currently investigating.

Both Toronto Police and Hydro One said they were aware of the outage.

Police are urging drivers in the area to consider non-signaled intersections as four-way stops.
