A portion of theBC Highway 1west of Revelstoke has been blocked due to a major vehicle accident.
According to the IPN warning, there was a frontal car accident involving six people. One person was in a serious condition and post-patient remittance was started.

According to DriveBC, an evaluation is underway and the westbound lane is reported to be completely blocked.
The crew is on the way, but the driver has to anticipate significant delays and congestion. They are advised to drive carefully.
