A man and a woman have been arrested for a frightening home invasion in Don Mills involving a 13-year-old victim.
Toronto Police say officers responded to a “suspicious incident call” in the area of York Mills and Don Mills Rd. on Saturday.

“It is alleged that the victim was inside their residence when they heard the front doorbell ringing several times,” Insp. Richard Harris said in a statement released Wednesday. “When the victim opened the door, a man and woman forced their way inside.”
He said the man was armed with a screwdriver.
“The pair began ransacking the residence,” Harris said. “They took the victim’s laptop and then fled the residence.

The victim’s father previously told the Toronto Sun that his teen son was home alone for about an hour Saturday while he was running errands and the boy’s mom was at a ballet lesson with his sister.
A doorbell camera captured the home invaders on video, which was shared with the Sun.
Police say 51 Division officers arrested a man and woman on “an unrelated matter” on Tuesday.
And upon further investigation, they were identified as suspects in the Don Mills home invasion.
Dominic McKay-Jones, 34, of Toronto, is charged with robbery, forcible entry and failure to comply with a probation order.
Skye Robichaud-Miller, 23, of Toronto, is charged with robbery, forcible entry and failure to comply with a release order.
