A man has been charged with killing a 63-year-old woman following an altercation last weekend in northeast Edmonton.
Police responded to complaints about weapons at a residence near 162 Avenue and 52 Street shortly before 6:30 pm on Saturday, August 6.
Police arrived and found the woman dead and the teenage girl injured.
A 17-year-old girl was taken to hospital with "serious but not life-threatening" injuries, according to her EPS update on Tuesday.

Jasbir Grewal, 56, was charged with second-degree murder and aggravated assault.
Edmonton Police confirmed that both the victim and Jasbir knew each other, but did not provide details of their relationship. He said he was not looking for other suspects.
