Burnaby, British Columbia — A man was killed in two shootings on Highway 1 in Burnaby, British Columbia.
Burnaby RCMP says they were called on Saturday afternoon by one of the victims of the shooting, and police officers said they were on the west side of the freeway with both people still inside. Arrived to find a car pulled by.
The surviving victims who were driving are believed to have non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Police say they are working to find out when and where the shooting happened and how much the vehicle moved before the driver pulled it.
Investigators did not disclose the suspect's information, but believe the shooting was related to the Lower Mainland gang conflict.
They say another vehicle was found firing in Burnaby and is believed to be involved in the incident.
