ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A man in state correctional custody died at Anchorage Prison while facing charges, the Alaska Department of Corrections said Monday.

Austin Earl Wilson, 34, was pronounced dead Friday at the Anchorage Correctional Facility, a ministry statement said. Authorities said Wilson was the seventh person to die in the agency's custody this year.

No foul play was suspected, according to the statement. No cause of death was provided.

In late July, the Justice Department reported that Goose He Creek Correctional Center had died of his 91-year-old James Patrick Wheeler. He has been in custody since his 1993 and is serving time on a murder charge, the department said.

Wheeler became his sixth death in custody of the agency this year.
