A man was arrested and another released after a assault overnight in downtown Kelowna, British Columbia , police said.
According to the RCMP, a 21-year-old man was cut with his box during an argument with two of his other men and was cut in the face. I was deeply injured.
Police said the assault occurred around 2 a.m. in Stewart Park. They also say homeless people were involved, calling it an isolated incident.

"The victim known to police has deep cuts to his face and is bleeding profusely," Kelowna RCMP said. rice field.
"The man was uncooperative and refused to identify himself or even testify."

Regarding the suspects, police say they followed a bloodstain that led them to the washroom area where the assault allegedly took place.
“Two suspects fled due to surveillance,” said the Kelowna RCMP. One suspect fled on a bicycle and a second suspect left in a car.”
Police said officers had identified one of the suspects. He was a few blocks away and was arrested for assault.
